Personal Trainer, Instructor

Alyssa comes from Alpena, MI where she was born and raised. She graduated from Alpena Community College with a degree in Business Management in 2015.

Her journey with health and fitness began in 2012. As an overweight teenager & athlete, she made a life-style adjustment  that unknowingly would change her life forever. She has now lost 85 pounds and gained the passion and love for health and wellness.

At the age of 18, she began working at a local health club in Alpena as the Membership Director, which then lead her to pursue her Personal Training & Group Exercise Certification through AFAA, and now NASM.

Jennifer Westendorf

Jen’s fitness career began early on as a recreational participant in both school and community programs. Over the years, the benefits of fitness always were at the forefront even as she transitioned into the work force. So much so that Jen merged her passion for health and wellness into a career over the last 10 years while living in Los Angeles, as the Assistant Director for Fitness & Wellness at Loyola Marymount University.  Initially receiving her Mad Dogg (Spinning) and Barre Physique certifications in 2008, she also holds certifications in Schwinn Indoor Cycling, AFAA Group Exercise, TRX, and is a 200 hour RYT.

Prior to moving back to Michigan, Jen was also a member of the Equinox Group Fitness team and attended Equinox exclusive trainings for ViPR, Barre, MetCon3, Pure Strength and Precision Running.  A native of Michigan, she received her Bachelor’s of  Science from Central Michigan University (’98 Psychology & Human Development).

Jen brings her enthusiasm & passion for fitness to Allegro Coaching in all genres of classes but especially her coaching favorites: barre, core, cardio and strength classes. Her motto: whatever your age, activity level, or desired outcome, you’ll work hard and have fun- together we’ll reshape your life one workout at a time!

Holly Visser

Corporate Yoga Instructor

Holly was exposed to yoga when a fellow athlete recommended it for recovery from a knee injury.  She was soon balancing her biking, running, and swimming, with yoga as well. In time, she has improved her skills in  discipline as well as staying mostly injury free. In addition, she benefits from a greater sense of calm, and feels as though she makes more thoughtful life decisions from the time invested on her mat.

Holly received her training through Holy Yoga International and is certified as an H-RYT at the 200 level. She has her ACE group fitness certification and Yogalates Specialty Certification. It is her priority to put safety and proper alignment first in each class setting, but to also include elements of creativity and playfulness to enlighten the beginner as well as lighten the spirit of each in attendance. You will hear the phrase “lots of grace” in class often. Whether new to the many styles of yoga or experienced…Holly  knows that we all bring something different to the mat every time we practice.

Monica Reyna

After experiencing life at 240lbs I decided to shift my behavior and join a gym. Fast forward 20 years and two beautiful daughters later, and Fitness and whole human wellness is an incredible lifestyle and continued journey! Knee deep in healing techniques, meditation, Tai Chi, vibration shifting, personal training and feeling good, my life is amazing and continues to unfold perfectly! Lisa’s love for physical movement started as a child.  Her passion for healthy living and leading group fitness classes started in 1987 when she gained employment at a Power House Gym in Saginaw, Michigan.
