Kendra Bylsma

Director of Wellness

Kendra is a mom, wife and fitness enthusiast!  A native to West Michigan, she graduated from Calvin University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, while playing 4 years of collegiate basketball. Kendra is a certified personal trainer through ACE and recently became a John Maxwell Leadership Coach in 2018.  Kendra provides oversight and direction for all corporate wellness services, product development and producing “one of a kind” results as a health coach.   Kendra began Allegro Coaching in 2009 with a mission to transform lives and workplaces through holistic wellness programs and personalized coaching.  In her spare time, Kendra loves to teach strength training classes for beginners, practice yoga and keep up with her growing family of 7!


Christina Abraham

Corporate Wellness Coordinator

Coach Christina comes from a well-rounded background in health and wellness. Coming from a corporate career in communications, Christina went on to become a certified personal trainer and complete an MS degree in health and wellness management. She has experience teaching a number of group fitness classes including TRX, Kettlebell, strength, and circuit classes. She also completed a 200-hour yoga teaching certification with an emphasis on meditation and holistic medicine in Peru. Her approach to health coaching incorporates all aspects of holistic wellness stretching beyond the traditional facets of fitness and nutrition. Christina is passionate about encouraging people to take the first step to create sustainable change in their lives.


Michelle Dawes

Corporate Wellness Coordinator

Coach Michelle has diverse experience in health and wellness. She earned an MS in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University and has extensive experience in a range of group fitness classes including cycling, Pilates, yoga, strength, TRX, kettlebell and circuit type classes. While Michelle comes from a fitness background, she is passionate about holistic health and wellness, believing that thriving includes a healthy body, mind, and spirit, which has led to her become a Wellcoaches Certified Health Coach! As a health and wellness coach, Michelle strives to help clients develop “tools” to create sustainable behavior and/ or mindset changes by focusing on the positives, utilizing client’s strengths, helping clients discover their intrinsic motivation, and aiding clients in moving toward their wellness vision through SMART goals.

Danielle is a wife and mom of 3, enjoying camping, hiking and mountain biking.  It's no surprise she loves to move with her Bachelor's of Exercise Science and Master's degree in Health Promotion & Management.  Danielle has worked in the wellness industry for over 16 years, working as the onsite wellness coordinator for several West Michigan based manufacturing companies and recently, teaching adjunct as a faculty member at Grand Valley State University.  Danielle is certified through the ACSM Exercise Physiologist and RYT program, and holds multiple certifications with group fitness and yoga teaching.  She is passionate about learning what brings others to life and discovering what healthy looks like for diverse cultures and backgrounds.


Tracie Sanford, RD

Registered Dietitian

Tracie is a Registered Dietitian, Health coach, mom and avid runner. Tracie is a west Michigan native who earned her BS in Nutrition form Northern Arizona University and her MS in Nutrition from Central Michigan University. Tracie started her career working in hospitals helping clients manage chronic health conditions. Tracie was a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and her interest focused on metabolic syndrome and diabetes. The experience and knowledge gained in the hospital has inspired Tracie to shift her focus to full body wellness, untangling the complexities of behavior change and creating realistic solutions to help people feel their best and achieve their goals. “We have overcomplicated nutrition to the point we feel helpless. I want to simplify the process and help clients get back to the basics and regain control of their health and wellbeing.”

Julie Morrow


Being active has always been a part of Julie’s life. She plays tennis weekly, runs (a little), bikes, and loves to teach a high-energy HIIT class.  At 52, she knows that yoga helps to keep her strong in body and mind and supports her ability to exercise and move.   She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and completed her 200RYT with Mindful School of Yoga.  Julie is also certified with MOSSA as a Group Power instructor and a certified Silver Sneakers instructor.  She loves working with a variety of ages and experiences and strives to make class participants feel empowered and uplifted while having some fun too. When she’s not teaching she’s likely walking a dog, making jewelry, or hanging with her husband, as her last child has flown the coop to college.  Pentwater is her favorite summer spot in Michigan for kayaking, paddle boarding, and boating with her family.

Is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He is also a Corrective Exercise Specialist, in which he can help with minor injuries and preventing them. John is from the West Michigan area and has been training here since 2016. His favorite part of health and fitness is learning more about how to improve our quality of life.
