Holly was exposed to yoga when a fellow athlete recommended it for recovery from a knee injury.  She was soon balancing her biking, running, and swimming, with yoga as well. In time, she has improved her skills in  discipline as well as staying mostly injury free. In addition, she benefits from a greater sense of calm, and feels as though she makes more thoughtful life decisions from the time invested on her mat.

Holly received her training through Holy Yoga International and is certified as an H-RYT at the 200 level. She has her ACE group fitness certification and Yogalates Specialty Certification. It is her priority to put safety and proper alignment first in each class setting, but to also include elements of creativity and playfulness to enlighten the beginner as well as lighten the spirit of each in attendance. You will hear the phrase “lots of grace” in class often. Whether new to the many styles of yoga or experienced…Holly  knows that we all bring something different to the mat every time we practice.

Henry Pena

Henry was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan on the northeast side of town. As a proud Second Generation American, Henry says that he  owes his “never say die” work ethic to his parents. “To them, I will always be grateful.”

After graduating high school, Henry attended Grand Valley State University.  Interests in science, medicine, and serving others influenced him in earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001. After graduation he worked locally in the hospital setting, as a Registered Nurse, for several years. With the knowledge and experience he attained, Henry wanted to give back and began working as a Clinical Educator.
Henry was introduced to Allegro, by a friend, in December of 2016. Always being active in sports during his high school years, the two-week trial membership was all it took to reignite his athletic fire. “The team at Allegro empowered me to create long-term change in mind, body, and spirit. I discovered a community of like-minded people and feel blessed to have met them all.”
With the encouragement of staff at Allegro, Henry has worked to attain his Group Exercise Certification through AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America). His hope and goal is to give back to the community that he has come to enjoy so much.
